Yunho Kim is president of KHNP Central Research Institute having more than 30 years of experience in nuclear industry. He was also project manager of APR design certification for U.S. NRC. He has worked the design certification project since 2010 including pre-application review meetings with the NRC.

Isabelle Leboucher joined AREVA group in 1992 in chemical engineering nuclear projects, contributed to the ramp-up and processes improvements of La Hague facilities.  She held for a decade several positions in fuel cycle and reactors activities in contract negotiations, partnership and business development. She then managed AREVA marketing activities both in Nuclear and Renewable activities for 4 years. In 2017, Leboucher joined the EDF group to build a marketing team for New Nuclear Activities, while being involved in Nuclear Industry activities. Since January 2020, she combines marketing with pre-development focus in New Build projects.

Dr. Kim received a bachelor's degree and Master’s in Nuclear Engineering from Seoul National University (1981 and 1983) and Ph.D's degree in Nuclear Engineering from M.I.T in USA (1992). Dr. Kim started his career in the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute. Dr. Kim has worked for 31 years in the various nuclear R&D projects. From 1997, Dr. Kim has developed SMART reactor which is an advanced integral small reactor. Currently he is a Vice President for SMART Development in the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute. His specialties are system dynamic analysis and advanced control system design.

Dr. Bragg-Sitton is the Manager of the Systems Integration Department within the INL Nuclear Systems Design & Analysis division, NS&T Lead for the INL Laboratory Initiative on Integrated Energy Systems (IES) and INL Lead for the Tri-Laboratory Consortium among the DOE applied energy labs. Shannon directs the DOE-NE IES program. IES designs will coordinate the use of multiple clean energy generation sources – e.g., nuclear and renewables – to meet both thermal and electrical energy needs. Within the IES program, Shannon also serves as Director for the Joint Use Modular Plant program.

Before joining JAEC in March 2008 as the Commissioner for International Cooperation, Dr. Araj served as the Government Advisor for Nuclear Energy. Since 2006, Dr. Araj was the chief scientific advisor for King Abdullah Development Bureau (KADDB). Before returning to Jordan, Dr. Araj worked as a senior officer at the IAEA in Vienna for five years. Prior to joining the IAEA,   Dr. Araj worked as consultant/advisor in nuclear energy and advanced technology in Washington, DC with the management consulting firm, RCG/Hagler, Bailly, Inc., XERAD, Inc., the BDM Corporation, Argonne National Laboratory, and the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency (ACDA).  Before that, Dr. Araj has held academic and research appointments at MIT, Harvard University, Brookhaven National Laboratory and U.S. National Academy of Sciences.

His earlier career involved R&D at Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), GE, Brookhaven National Laboratory, the Applied Research Lab of Penn State University, and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), all in the U.S.

He was the Professor of the Hokkaido University from 2005 to March 2018. He has been involved in investigating the causes of the accidents and developing countermeasures for other NPPs in Japan, as an advisory meeting member of NRA (Nuclear Regulatory Authority) for Fukushima Daiichi Accident Investigation Team. He was also given the Outstanding Professor of the Year Award given at the ISOE (IAEA/OE CD-NEA)International ALARA Symposium,Jan. 8-12, 2018.
