H.E. Eng. Mohamed Al Hammadi is the Chief Executive Officer of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC). Al Hammadi's management responsibilities include leading the organization towards the safe and efficient deployment of the UAE's first nuclear energy plant as well as ensuring compliance to the commitments of the UAE Roadmap to Nuclear Energy and the regulatory compliance to the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR). Al Hammadi is a member of the World Association of Nuclear Operators' (WANO) Governing Board of its Atlanta Centre. He is also a member of the American Nuclear Society, and the Project Management Institute (USA). Mr. Al Hammadi was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Engineering from Ajou University, Republic of Korea in May 2019.

Hideki Masui is Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Nuclear Officer of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings (TEPCO). His responsibilities are corporate planning, organizational development and human resources development. He joined TEPCO in 1989. Since then his professional experience has been diverse. He started his professional career at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station as a chemical engineer.

Balasubrahmanian has about 33 years experience in Design, Development, Engineering, Pre-project studies, Design co-ordination, Safety Review, Stress Analysis & Seismic qualification, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of Nuclear Power Plants. He is credited with design, development and implementation of First of a kind Reactor Control & Shutdown systems for TAPS-3&4. He is equally versatile in PHWRs and LWRs, having worked in design & engineering of these reactor systems.

Yunho Kim is president of KHNP Central Research Institute having more than 30 years of experience in nuclear industry. He is in charge of research and development regarding safety, operational reliability, construction technologies, radiation, chemistry, instrumentation and power engineering technologies of nuclear power plants. He was also project manager of APR design certification for U.S. NRC. He has worked the design certification project since 2010 including pre-application review meetings with the NRC.

Dr. Kim received a bachelor's degree and Master’s in Nuclear Engineering from Seoul National University (1981 and 1983) and Ph.D's degree in Nuclear Engineering from M.I.T in USA (1992). Dr. Kim started his career in the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute. Dr. Kim has worked for 31 years in the various nuclear R&D projects. From 1997, Dr. Kim has developed SMART reactor which is an advanced integral small reactor. Currently he is a Vice President for SMART Development in the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute. His specialties are system dynamic analysis and advanced control system design.

Jon Ball is Executive Vice President of Nuclear Plant Projects for GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy, a position he assumed in November 2015. In this role he leads the development and execution of new plant strategies globally. Jon has been a leader in the nuclear industry for more than 20 years and has a wide-range of experience in manufacturing, global operations, services, quality and P&L leadership.

Professor Giorgio Locatelli’s areas of expertise include: megaprojects, SMR, nuclear sector, project benchmarking, cost-benefit analysis, risk management, ethics & corruption, infrastructure end-of-life, project governance and temporary organizations. His research area is project management in large and complex infrastructure. Giorgio also works as a consultant and visiting academic for several institutions, including the IAEA and the UK government.

Jan van der Lee is EDF Inc. Vice President R&D and leads EDF Innovation Lab . Prior to his current position, Jan created and headed the Materials Aging Institute (MAI), an international organization founded by EDF for scientific collaboration amongst nuclear utilities and related industries. Before joining EDF in 2009, he was associate professor at Mines-ParisTech. Jan received his M.S. degree in quantitative hydrodynamics from the Amsterdam Free University (Netherlands) and a Ph.D. from Mines-ParisTech (France).

Bum-Jin Chung is a Professor of Nuclear Engineering Department in Kyung Hee University, Korea since March 2013. His current research interests are the analogy experiment method using electrochemical systems, natural and mixed convection heat transfers on various geometries in application to nuclear systems such as the HTGR (High Temperature Gas Cooled Reactor) and SFR(Sodium-cooled Fast Reactor) safety systems.
